Vanguard Website Solutions' Website Design Service defines all website requirements, website architecture, web pages and linkages. The Website Development activity utilizes these defined requirements to implement the specified website. Vanguard Website Solutions offers a set of specific Website Packages targeted to serve the needs of various clients in a highly cost effective manner. Each of these packages supports industry best practices, including features and techniques that facilitate high engagement of Website visitors that fully translate to mobile website versions. We also support the needs of your web site visitors with disabilities with web site designs that support accessibility (i.e., leverage of US Government Section 508 Standards).

Website Design Service
The website design service involves the development and delivery of a “Website Design Specification” that contains agreed to web site design requirements and specified limits of scope. This is a collaborative and iterative activity with each client that results in a mutual understanding, ensuring all client expectations are fully met. Websites being designed using Vanguard Website Solutions existing website templates are also able to leverage existing Website Design Specifications, requiring only desired modifications. Each Website Design Specification includes the following:

Identifies all best practice requirements for website appearance, structure and organization.

Identifies all web pages to be incorporate into the website, including Client images, graphics, logos and brands.

Defines the specific functionality of each web page.

Defines the functionality between multiple web pages.

Defines the content associated with each web page.

The initial revision of the Website Design Specification is designated the "Preliminary Website Design Specification" and is included as part of the initial contract documentation. Incremental revisions of the Website Design Specification are reviewed with the client and agreed to updates are incorporated into a subsequent revision. When the client determines that the Website Design Specification is complete and adequately represents the desired website requirements, this revision of the specification is identified as the "Final Website Design Specification" and used as the basis for website development. The client's cost for the website design service is bounded by mutual agreement.
Website Development
Website development design involves the realization of the specified website and corresponding Mobile Site based on: Website Design Specification requirements, Internet protocol and other standards, industry best website programming techniques and organizationally themed templates. Vanguard Website Solutions delivers a minimum of three formal versions of the developed website:

"Alpha Version for mutual review with Client, incorporation of agreed to modifications.

One or more "Beta Version(s)" for review and testing by Client (if desired).

"Approved Version" with Client final acceptance for publishing to Internet via a Website Management Service Subsctiption.

Web Value Package - Provides a local Government themed website with a base set of capabilities including a standard set of Web Page Suites, unlimited indexed site searches, and a limited amount of personalization for a low cost.

Web Standard Package - Provides a local Government themed website with a rich set of capabilities, including all capabilities of the Web Value Package plus an event calendar, client videos, a standard FAQ Web Page Suite, more personalization and a full capability mobile site.
